Subtitles are the best way to convey your video’s message whether you have audio on or muted.

With the Blurbiz app, when you sign up, you will immediately get to use the subtitle feature and you can go ahead and begin adding those subtitles into your videos!

To go ahead and begin adding subtitles to your videos, take a look at this article on our website.

On the flipside, there’s also a quicker way to add subtitles into your videos. In this method, we will need to have a pre-existing SRT file. SRT (.srt) stands for “SubRip Subtitle” file, and it's the most common subtitle/caption file format.

Apart from giving you the ability to add your own subtitles to your video, the Blurbiz app also allows you to add subtitles to a video using an SRT file!

Here’s what you need to do:

Once you already have your video setup AND you have your pre-existing SRT file already saved in your computer, just click on the purple “Upload .SRT” button.

Select your pre-existing SRT file from your computer, then click “Open”. Once done, the Blurbiz app will automatically add ALL the subtitles onto your project.

Do a final check on the timing of the subtitles via the preview of your video on the left-hand panel.

Now it’s time to complete and download your video! Just click the green “Complete” button to start processing your video with its added subtitles!

Once your video has completed processing, you will be taken to your finished video where you can download it by clicking on the “Download” button on the upper right corner of your screen.

You will have the option to download the video in three formats:

  • 360p Standard Definition,
  • 720p High Definition
  • 1080p Full HD version

Aaaaaaaand you’re done!

Quick Steps to Adding Subtitles to a Video using an SRT File:
